Background & Experience

With 17 years of experience as a nurse, I've spent my career walking alongside people through some of their most vulnerable moments — trauma, illness, crisis, loss, and healing. That experience shapes everything about how I now practice as a psychotherapist: with deep respect for the body, a steady presence in hard moments and a strengths-based approach that centres what's already working within you, not just what feels broken. I bring both the rigour of my clinical training in counselling psychology and nearly two decades of real-world experience caring for people to how I show up as a therapist — offering a nuanced, empathetic and judgement-free space where you're seen as capable, resilient and whole.

Therapeutic Approach

Meaningful change happens within a safe, trusting relationship — one where you're never judged, only met with acceptance. My approach is strengths-based: we'll focus not just on what feels broken, but on the resilience and capability you already carry. I integrate diverse, evidence-based methods and tailor them to your unique path, because your healing shouldn't have to look like anyone else's.

Client-Centered

Healing begins with a safe, empathetic space where your unique voice is heard and your own lived experience leads the way.

Strengths-Based

We focus on uncovering and harnessing your inherent strengths and resilience to navigate current life challenges effectively.

Culturally Humble

My practice integrates a deep understanding of identity and cultural context to provide inclusive and validating support.

Like the tide, healing moves at its own pace — but it always brings you closer to the shore. In a safe, accepting space, you can let go of what no longer serves you and rise with what does.

Ready to begin your journey toward healing?

Whether you're ready to book or just have a few questions, I'm here to offer a safe, accepting, judgement-free space — with no pressure, only support.
